Scam was a 1 day brief which I worked on in a group of 4. Our scam was all about hacking of the internet. I got sent this hack email:

Hello You because I eat children

Firstly I would like to thank you for being a member of YouTube. Together we have built the number one video streaming website in the world!

This message is to inform you that YouTube will be closing very soon. This is because two reasons.

AN increased number of users have gotten AdBlock. Here at YouTube, we use ads as our main source of income. Our studies show that ¾ of our users are using AdBlock.
Not enough content. Our studies show that content has decreased by 43%.

For those reasons, and a couple more that we cannot mention, YouTube does not have enough mooney to keep up with the high demand of all of our users (servers, employees, etc.) and therefore we will close down YouTube very soon.

Now YouTube doesn’t do this very often, but we need your help. We want to keep youtube going, and to do this we are asking everyone to fill out a survey to help us financially. If everyone does 1 survey, YouTube has a great chance of re-opening. This is our only way of accepting donations!

Our mission was to create a printed A2 size image displaying a scam however we had to imagine how these scammers would target people before email. Our group came up with an this image, displaying parts of the scam mail to grab peoples attention into being scammed.
